You hear a lot of things about India and people tend to focus on the negatives. For this reason, I had low expectations of the hotel and location. The reality was a very pleasant surprise :-) Very friendly staff, well maintained environment, attention to detail, good services, comfortable rooms, swimming pool, Spa, etc. In my ratings, I dropped them a point on the breakfast because I thought they could have had more variety in the area of fruit and non-cooked breakfast. However, I think for most guests, the buffet and show-cooking were right on the mark. For dinner, I tried both the in-house restaurants (Café Hollywood and Mad Max) and both were excellent quality with large portions and good service. I was there for 22 nights and experienced no "health issues" whatsoever, which is a clear sign of a good kitchen! I also ate at many of the local restaurants and most of these were also of a high standard. The location ("Thane") is an area for "comfortable well-off" locals so the area is clean, safe and a pleasant place to stay and visit. "The Walk" is the local pedestrian zone with many shops and restaurants - all worth a visit. Back at the hotel, the free-time offerings really made a difference to my visit. I went swimming in the roof-top pool almost every day. Its not huge but you can have a decent swim. The Gym is small but well-equipped and the Spa offers excellent massage at about 40% of the rates charged in Europe. On the whole, a great place to stay that I am happy to recommend.

As with all big hotels, the little things were occasionally forgotten - e.g. the complimentary daily drinking water. However, a quick call to reception and such issues were quickly and quietly resolved :-)

The team at this hotel made it, our group of 12 had a great tie, were made to feel very welcome and we were very much looked after - a really great hotel - stay here.

Windows in the room dont open

Staff was very helpful and courteous room was spacious and comfortable and facilities were good

The shower wasn't heating well and water force was weak - also I had to call the housekeeping thrice as the TV channels were showing up on the TV but only the third time did the staff actually explain how to work the remote keys so that this will not recur.

I think room service facilities needs to be improved. Usually room service staff visits minimum 2-3 times for setting up a bed, for filling tea materials, timely removing used food plates and other stuff. This was missing.

Great hotel in Hiranandani Estate in Thane. It's luxurious and one of its kind in Thane. Overall very good with good room, bed and facilities. Running hot and cold water in shower worked fine. Rooftop swimming pool and restaurant was good. Breakfast spread included with room was really good. Good options available in both Indian and Continental.

Shower gel was not refilled in the shower and the hand shower and head shower didn't work fine when you turned on hand shower the head shower was also dripping. Restaurants in the hotel are super costly. Room could have a small desk instead of two dinning tables.

You would like everything here. Outstanding facilities and indeed a great experience.
